CTS-Software, Inc. offers a full suite of scheduling, dispatching, billing, and reporting technology called Trip Master Enterprise Edition (TMEE). This provides one platform that a Transportation Agency can simply build upon as they grow and their demands change.

Automated Scheduling

The Trip Master Enterprise Edition Software has an optional Automated Scheduling feature that will automatically batch all reservations for the next day. The system is based off actual street network in the service area by x- and y- coordinates, parameters associated with network segments as established in the GIS system, physical barriers, speed parameters, time of day, and appropriate dwell times for the boarding and alighting of passengers. All reservations will be sent to the Automated Scheduling engine for route optimization unless otherwise selected.

• The scheduling algorithm uses the parameters given (vehicles and drivers available, drivers hours) and the pickup windows.
• Then it runs through every possible scenario that fits those parameters and chooses the most efficient schedule.
• The user will then accept or reject the proposed schedule from a report that displays each route.
• The scheduler will then be able to view and compare the time that was previously recorded to the Auto/Scheduled time according to the new schedule created.

Scheduling

Creating reservations within the Trip Master Enterprise Edition has been developed to set the standards in trip reservations with ease. Scheduling both subscription and demand response door-to-door trips are a primary functionality and can be completed while personnel are on the phone. The user-friendly system assists schedulers/call takers with the ability to process a reservation the same day or for reservations up to and including 3 months in advance.

Dispatching

The Trip Master Enterprise Edition Software provides a dispatcher with all the necessary tools to efficiently perform the job at hand. Easily access manifests, dispatch logs, mapping screens while viewing the daily schedule. Computer Assisted Dispatching is available with access to several “filter” options. This is a quick search function that allows the software to assist the dispatcher with their duties. This will narrow down the list of possible routes that will be able to handle the reservation. The Trip Master Software provides the user to easily swap drivers or vehicles in the case of breakdowns, or drivers calling in sick, etc.

Mobile Data Terminal Interface

Through a direct interface with Mobile Data Terminals, the Trip Master Enterprise Edition Software assists in communicating fast, effectively, and precise. The advanced technology and efficiency of this program is an optional module and will provide the licensee with real-time dispatch and real-time validation, updating your dispatch screen automatically when a driver records a pickup, drop-off, or other actions. The Mobile Data Terminal device will serve as your drivers manifest (Go Green….Go Paperless), communication devise, and tracking abilities.

Automated Vehicle Location

While utilizing the Mobile Data Terminals, one of the most critical tools to managing a transportation operation is the Advanced Vehicle Location Tracking screen. The ability to see your vehicles current location, speed, capacity and on-time performance will greatly impact your scheduling and dispatching logic.

Mapping

The Trip Master Enterprise Edition software is a fully equipped with a detailed mapping engine. CTS-Software provides you with a complete map of the world, not limiting your view access. You will have the ability to print camera ready printed output, using a wide range of printer/plotter devices that may be utilized. The graphical display can be altered to 40 degree angle, full 360 degree bird’s eye view, and full zoom in/zoom out functions allowing the viewer to see a broad landscape view to identify area characteristics.

Reporting and Billing

CTS-Software has one of the most detailed reporting and billing engines in the industry. We will provide you with the ability to customize your bills and reports without having to have specific knowledge of different Queries. All Reports, Bills, Manifests, etc. are exportable to different formats including Excel, PDF, and Word. Although our system provides the Agency with many report building options, there may be some reports that are required by your State. Our professional development team will build in any reports that are required, free of charge.
